Find American Wagyu Corn Beef Plants

St Patrick's Day is almost here and that means Costco has lots of irish-themed St. Patrick's Day Foods. Each year I see the Snake River Farms wagyu corned beef at Costco. With Saint Patrick's Day coming up I bought it and thought that I would give it a try and review it for you all. It's keto friendly, already marinated, and super easy to make!
Snake River Farms is an American wagyu, it is not the A5 wagyu at Costco (if you're looking for Costco A5 Wagyu click here), just so we're on the same page – this is only $8 per pound! This is still a premium Wagyu beef round and it comes marinated along with a dry package of seasoning and cooking instructions (see below for the wagyu corned beef at Costco preparation directions).
Costco Item Number & Price
Snake River Farms American wagyu corned beef is Costco number 44492 and costs $7.99 per pound. Each package is about 3.5 to 4 lbs – mine was 3.83 and cost $30.60.
My Review of Costco Wagyu Corned Beef
I wanted to keep the preparation simple so I went ahead and put it into my slow cooker. her the package instructions I emptied the beef round the juices sealed in the package and the packet of spices. unfortunately I didn't have any stout or apple cider at my house so I simply used water and filled the slow cooker up until it reached around the top of the beef round.
I slow cooked it on high for 4 hours and then changed it to low for 1 hour. Next time I will slow cook it for 8 hours using stout, however, today I did not have 8 hours to cook it so I cooked it on a higher setting. It's still turned out great though.
Everyone in the family liked it! My eight year old son who normally does not really steak very much even asked for seconds. Given how easy it is I am definitely going to buy a few more of these and put them into the freezer. Costco only carries Snake River Wagyu Corned Beef every year in March so it won't be back again for another entire year!
